CollectionOn the afternoon of March 30th, 2018, the Beijing Blockchain Application Association held its first Second General Meeting in Beijing. According to the Regulations on the Registration of Social Organizationsand the Regulations of the Beijing Blockchain Application Association. After briefed on the work report of the secretariat of the association, the Association Charter, Membership Dues Management Method, Finance and Fixed Assets Management System and Major Issue Reporting System were approved and passed according to the procedures and the Democratic Decision-Making System was revised at the conference. At the meeting, through secret ballot voting, the new Secretary-General Ms. Yang Ji and the new supervisor Mr. Fu Jian were elected were selected and the member award ceremony was held.
The president of the association, Dr. Zhu Yedong, said that the Beijing Blockchain Application Association had always been adhering to the development philosophy of “serving for members and promoting the development of the industry.” Since its establishment over a year, it has been committed to building an effective exchange and cooperation platform for the blockchain technology and applications. The platform aims to gather industry resources through blockchain and jointly promote the development of the blockchain industry with cross-border integration to and the innovation and development of advanced technologies.
In 2017, the Beijing Blockchain Application Association under the care and guidance of leaders at all levels, and with instructions of the “Beijing Blockchain Application Association - 2017 Work Plan”, preliminarily completed the association's operation specification, member service system construction, The formation of full-time work team, the release of industry development reports, and the establishment of the brand image of the association.
In 2018, the association will further establish a sound and standardized association operation system, will improve the institution-building and industrial self-discipline work of the association organization, will strengthen the social organization of party building work, will promote the brand building work of industrial associations, and will enhance the influence and communication abilities. The association will continuously revolve around the core concept “Serve the members and Promote the industrial development” to give full function as the role of bridges and bonds and will stick with the people-oriented overall planning to establish professional staff. Association will focus on blockchain related training, international inspections, forum summit, the preparation of blockchain annual blue book and other activities this year to provide more comprehensive and high quality services for members.

At the end of the meeting, the members began to freely communicate with each other and deepened their understanding of blockchain technology research and development, blockchain applications, blockchain project investment and financing, and other aspects.
