CollectionOn April 26th, the China (Beijing, Zhongguancun) signing ceremony of Intellectual Property Protection Center and 2018 Zhongguancun The Intellectual Property Forum, co-organized by Haidian District Government, Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and Zhongguancun Science Park Management Committee, and undertaken by the Haidian Park Management Committee and Haidian District Intellectual Property Office, were held at the Exhibition Center of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone in Haidian District.
The forum aims to celebrate the Eighteenth World Intellectual Property Day, to strengthen the publicity and communication of intellectual property rights, to enhance the awareness of the entire society about intellectual property, and to create a good intellectual property atmosphere in Haidian District.
The Beijing Blockchain Application Association and more than 20 industry organizations in Beijing jointly launched the industry self-discipline initiative of “Respect Intellectual Property and Protect Intellectual Property Rights”. The Executive Secretary of the Association Liang Wei attended the ceremony of the industry self-discipline initiative and took a solemn oath.
It is reported that the reason why Beijing Blockchain Application Association was invited to participate in the intellectual property industry protection initiative is because the contribution of promoting of the protection of intellectual property from multi-functional anti-counterfeiting technologies, such as consensus algorithm technology which is the feature of blockchain technology, tamper-resistant encryption technology, smart contracts. These technologies will promote the disclosure and transparency of information and full traceability in the field of intellectual property.
The Beijing Blockchain Application Association, as the first blockchain application association in China, can use its global cutting-edge innovation technology, strong social resources, and the blockchain ecology that integrates politics, production, education, research and development. Through the collaborative cooperation, BBAA promotes the procedures of protecting intellectual property in China and continuously encourages the affirmation of intellectual property rights and the enhancement of the value of intellectual property.
