CollectionIn order to gain a deeper understanding of the hardships of our party in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, to learn the party's glorious deeds, and to improve the party members' ideology, on June 29, 2018, on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Beijing Blockchain Technology Application Association actively responded to Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Association and organized representatives of party members and representatives of other organizations to go to the anti-Japanese victory memorial site – Baiyang Lake Revolutionary Culture Holy Land in Hebei Province, to jointly carry out a party building activity with the theme of "relive the history and reminisce the martyrs".
Party Secretary of Beijing Intellectual Property Association Wu Jiaquan, Deputy Secretary-General Xie Chaohua, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Li Dongfang, Chairman of the Labor Union Liu Litang, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union Cheng Yanan and other representatives of more than 20 party members participated in the Baiyangdian patriotism education activities.
Baiyang is the largest lake in China's Haihe Plain, located in the central part of Hebei Province. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Japanese army aimed the ruthless artillery fire here. In order to survive, the people of Baiyang District established the famous water squadron “Yanling Team”. They used the favorable Baiyang terrain of reeds and intertwined rivers and they appeared and disappeared mysteriously, using the spears, harpoons and muskets in their hands to develop flexible guerrilla warfare with the enemy, which gave Japanese aggressors with serious blow and wrote a song of Baiyang people's anti-Japanese national salvation.
Looking at the rifles, fishing boats, artilleries and other exhibits and historical photographs, accompanied by the guide's deep-moving narration, the time seemed to return to the age of the smoke. The writer Xu Guangyao’s “Little soldier Zhangga”was created with the prototype of the "Yanling Team" investigator Zhao Bo. In front of the memorial hall the, people recalled the verse that “wild goose is sorrowful but enemy is frightened, and I am proud to fly across my homeland as the goose " , which perhaps is the best summary of this history.
During the visit, we also went to the memorial hall of the famous writer Sun Li. The statue of Mr. Sun Li stood tranquilly in front of the memorial hall, overlooking the land he loved. Sun Li the founder of the Communist Party of China and the revolutionary ancestors, also known as the founder of the "Lotus Flower", devoted his full revolutionary enthusiasm to create such far-reaching literary works as "Lotus" and "Luhuadang", which are still widely circulated.
After lunch, a group of people went to watch the famous local water show “Beat the Ship of Enemy”. The actors used realistic acting to tell the audience about the story of the Baiyang people fighting for the Japanese military ship, which let us feel the courage and wittiness Baiyang revolutionary ancestors.
From the population of 160,000 before the war to the population of 70,000 after the war, the peace and tranquility of Baiyang today is built on revolutionary ancestors’ lives and blood trade. Through this Party Day event of "relive the history and reminisce the martyrs", we deeply understand the ruthlessness of the war, and once again show our sincere thanks to the revolutionary martyrs for their selfless dedication to hard-won peace
