On November 17, 2016, with the support and guidance of the Beijing Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, China's first block chain association, Beijing Blockchain Technology Application Association, was formally established in Beijing.
Beijing Blockchain Application Association(BBAA) is the first blockchain application association in China. It was formally established in May, 2017, registered in Civil Affairs Department under the guidance of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau.
Based on the integration principle of “ policy guidance, theoretical research, scenario application, capital access, technology practice” , the association faces the global frontier technology, utilizes the powerful social resources, and works with the domestic first-class universities and scientific research institutes, well-known enterprises at home and abroad and core members to build a blockchain ecological system which is the integration of government, industrialization, education, research, and application. The association researches and explores the application of blockchain technology in the fields of bank draft, government cloud, intellectual property system, equity registration, and entrepreneurial incubation, etc.
The aim is to promote the innovation and development of advanced technology by agglomeration of industry resources and cross-border integration.
